"The best dentist I've had"- P.S. / Google / Mar 07, 2019
"Natalie and her team are so pleasant to visit I wish I could visit more often. Awesome bed side manor and super talented hygienists who really give it their all. Her white filling work is beautiful and she’s always very clear and informative about what you need done and why. I don’t ever feel like she’s doing anything for the money like I have with past dentists. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist."- G.Z. / Google / Sep 22, 2019

Best Candidates for Dentures
You may be an ideal candidate for dentures if you have suffered the loss of many teeth but still have healthy gums and a strong jawbone. If you have natural teeth, these may either be extracted for a full denture or kept with a partial denture. During your consultation with Dr. Scarmato, she will examine your mouth and discuss your options based on your needs and budget.
What To Expect
If needed, Dr. Scarmato will extract any teeth before taking oral impressions, which will be used to make your custom dentures. Partial dentures will be shaded to match your natural teeth for a seamless appearance. Once your dentures are crafted, Dr. Scarmato will adjust the fit so they are comfortable and secure. She will also go over the best way to care for your new dentures.
It may take some time before your new dentures feel comfortable and natural, but it should eventually be easier to eat and speak normally. If your dentures feel loose, return to our office to have your dentures readjusted. At home, you will need to keep your dentures clean by brushing them twice a day. When you remove your dentures, they should be soaked so they don't dry out. Continue to schedule exams and cleanings so Dr. Scarmato can check the wear and fit of your dentures, as well as the health of your jaw and gums. She will let you know if you need to have your dentures repaired or replaced, but with proper care, your dentures should last for many years.
If you have dental insurance, part of the cost of your dentures will typically be covered. Our office will contact your insurance company to determine your exact coverage and out-of-pocket expenses. During your consultation with Dr. Scarmato, she will customize your treatment plan so your dentures fit both your needs and budget. To help make your denture affordable whether you have dental insurance or not, our office accepts many forms of payment, including medical financing.
